President Karzai Receives a Telephone Call from Kofi Annan
Press Release Date of Release: 30 May 2006 Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, received a telephone call this evening from H.E. Kofi Annan, Secretary-General of the United Nations. During this telephone conversation, Kofi Annan asked the President about the current situation in Afghanistan , especially the situation of Kabul city. The President called the situation of Afghanistan as satisfactory and assured Kofi Annan about the situation of Kabul city.
