President Karzai met Gen. Pace, US Army Chief of Staff on Friday July, 28 2006 in Gulkhana Palace.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to security situation, regional matters, building, equipping and training of Afghan National Army and Police.

Mr. Pace reaffirmed his country’s long-term commitment to Afghanistan in capacity building and equipping of Afghan national army and police as well as in the overall reconstruction process.
