Afghanistan Seeks Stronger Ties with International Community

 On August 30, President Karzai met with parliament’s foreign relations commission in the Presidential Palace.
Expanding Afghanistan’s bilateral relations with the international community, especially with Islamic countries, was discussed in the meeting. It was agreed that stronger international ties is in Afghanistan’s interest and that greater efforts must be made to achieve this. President Karzai explained Afghanistan’s foreign policy goals and stressed the need to further strengthen Afghanistan’s relations with the international community. |
