President Hamid Karzai Meets Members of Hazara Council
 

8hamal86-hazaraconcile.gifOn March 28, President Hamid Karzai met with members of Hazara council at the Gulkhana Palace.

During the meeting, Senator Sulaiman Yari, on behalf of others, briefed the President on the difficulties of the people of Hazara and asked the Government to assist with construction of hospitals, roads and electricity in areas inhabited by Hazaras.

Senator Sulaiman congratulated the President on the occasion of new year, and asked the government to concentrate on the implementation of city master plan in Kabul.

Safdar Tawakkali, a famous singer, sang song and encouraged the national unity in Afghanistan.

The President listened to their problems and assured them of his support for the council.

The President enquired about education in Daikundi province and expressed satisfaction at the fact that many boys and girls go to schools in that province.
