President Karzai Awards Canadian General State Medal of Distinguished Service

April 21, 2008 President Hamid Karzai decorated Monday Gen. Dennis Tabbernor, Deputy Commanding General for Army Development with Medal of Baryal (a state medal of excellence awarded for distinguished military service). Brigadier General Dennis C. Tabbernor has been serving as the Deputy Commanding General for Army Development with the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan. Gen. Tobbernor was awarded the Medal in recognition of his distinguished military service in developing and equipping Afghan National Army. |
