President Karzai Meets Organization of the Islamic Conference Secretary General 
 
President Karzai Met with Elmeluddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the OICOn September 19, President Karzai met with Dr. Ekmeluddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, at the UN headquarters in New York.

The two sides discussed issues related to Islam and stressed the need to expand cooperation and conflict resolution initiatives among Muslim countries.
