President Karzai Visits New York Stock Exchange Center 

On September 19, President Karzai visited the New York Stock Exchange Center, the largest stock exchange in the world.

The President met with the New York Stock Exchange’s executive director and discussed the possibility of its cooperation with Afghanistan.  At 4 p.m., President Karzai rang the bell signifying the end of trading for the day.
