President Hamid Karzai awarded on Tuesday the State Medal of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan to Tajikistan Ambassador and Plenipotentiary in Afghanistan.
Farhod MAHKAMOV, Tajikistan Ambassador in Kabul was awarded the State Medal for the good diplomatic services he has delivered in Afghanistan and for the role he has had in further strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Thanking the President for the goodwill and reaffirming his country’s support of the Afghan government policies, Ambassador Mahkamov said, “This Medal is not only a pride to me, but to the President and People of Tajikistan.”
Also, in presence to the ceremony was Foreign Minister Dr. Spanta.
