Last Thursday, President Karzai received Sheikh Ali Jarahusabah, member of the Kuwaiti royal family and Minister of Energy, at Gul Khana Palace.  The minister delivered a letter on behalf of His Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to President Karzai.

Minister Jarahusabah expressed the best wishes of His Highness the Emir to the President and the people of Afghanistan.  During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were raised including ways to enhance bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
