UN Chief and US President Condemn Terrorist Attack in Baghlan
 

President George W. Bush telephoned President Karzai to express on behalf of his, Laura Bush and the people of the United States condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of the powerful blast in Baghlan that killed many including members of the Parliament.

President Karzai thanked President Bush for his feelings and applauded the assistance America has been providing to Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism.

Also, in a separate telephone call, UN Secretary General Banki Moon condemned the terrorist attack and expressed heartfelt condolences to President Karzai, families of the victims and to the people of Afghanistan.
