President Hamid Karzai and Dr. Kretchmer discussed EU’s assistance to the reconstruction of Afghanistan and emphasized its continuation. The European Commission is responsible for the implementation of EU-funded projects. Dr. Hansjorg Kretchmer is a German national who has served as EU’s Ambassador to Turkey. |
On December 5, President Hamid Karzai received Dr. Hansjorg Kretchmer, the New Head of Delegation for the European Commission in Afghanistan, at the Presidential Palace and accepted his credentials.
