Chief and other Justices of the Supreme Court of Afghanistan Were Sworn In By President Karzai

Arg, Kabul – In accordance with the Constitution of Afghanistan, chief justice and the 7 justices of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan were sworn in during a special ceremony by H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in the presidential palace. The ceremony started with recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran and the national anthem. The ceremony was attended by Vice Presidents, speakers and Members of the Parliament of Afghanistan, H.E. Fazl Hadi Shinwari, former chief justice, Jihadi leaders, members of the Cabinet and some senior Government officials.
