Assadullah Wafa, the current Advisor Minister to the President on Tribal Affairs received on Saturday the State Medal of Ghazi Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan during a formal ceremony in the Palace.

The President awarded Mr. Wafa the high-value state medal in recognition of his untiring efforts at reviving peace and stability and pursuing a good administration during the times he served as governors for the provinces of Paktia, Kunar and Helmand.
