Security measures to cover polling stations soon: Humayun Hamidzada


 Answering journalists’ questions on Tuesday at the Stor Palace of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hamidzada said, “Ministry of Interior and other security forces in cooperation with the international security forces will provide security to more than 6500 polling stations across the country and Afghans can go to these stations and cast their votes in a peaceful environment.” 
Asked about the death of Baitullah Mahsoud, Mr. Hamidzada said the death of the leader of the Pakistani Taliban was good news.  “It is important that the war against terrorism in the region continues into the future with serious cooperation by our neighboring countries.”
